Creating a Cloud Brush on Adobe Photoshop CS6

 

For my next design a will need to draw clouds, to draw the clouds in the shape I desire I will need to create a custom brush,

The first step is to select the brush tool from the tools menu.

Then open the brush window from the window menu

Nest using the brush options create a new brush preset and give it a relevant name such as “Cloud Bush”.

Go through the settings on the brush window and copy the following settings on the Brush Tip Shape, Shape Dynamics, Scattering, Texture, Transfer and Smoothing sections.

Save the  changes to the brush and test it out, (on a blue background for best results), the result should look something like this.

Finally drop shadow and other layer effects can be applied to the layer to add depth,, here is clouds on the same background with a light drop shadow.
